I Used to Write Letters

Over 100 letters were sent to you. Each one different from the rest. They were sad, funny, beautiful, and down right dumb.

I wrote about you, and I, and us.

It didn't matter what combinations I made with 26 different letters--You would have never believed them anyways.

In the end, you were always going to say that you were only "tolerating" me.

So here is what I should have said in them instead...

Dear Charlie,
You make me feel uncomfortable. In a good way. A nervous uncomfortable.

Dear Charlie,
You are funny, but you try way too hard.

Dear Charlie,
I have always loved your smile. Your crooked tooth has personality.

Dear Charlie,
Why did you cheat on me? Why?

Dear Charlie,
I wish we never grew up. I wish we never grew apart.

Dear Charlie,
I hate cats. (Sorry)

Dear Charlie,
I don't define you. I never have.

Dear Charlie,
Go cut your hair.

Dear Charlie,
I still love [bits and pieces of] you.
